What is it?
Art and science are once again joining the Núria Pla house - museum. Science and Songs explore s how we perceive nature wi th an eclectic concert by Víctor Puntes and Eduardo Green.
Their songs show us t he striking beauty of the microscopic world in a dual context. Following the scientific method, we will observe and generate rational hypotheses, but without forgetting the mos t vibrant artistic passion and emotions. Reason and emotion united in a unique concert that appeals to knowledge as a privilege that must be shared and shows us that, therefore, communication is an act of love.
Víctor Puntes is a researcher of inorganic nanoparticles and their applications in medicine, research that he carries out from a laboratory that he directs to the Vall d ’ Hebron University Hospital. Eduardo Green is a musician specializing in guitar, singer, teacher and record producer. He has been in different bands, but now he has combined all his experience and talent with that of Victor to form Science and Songs.
The Science and Songs concert will take place on October 18 at 8pm. and it will allow the visit to the mu seum collection after the show.
The Núria Pla House Museum, a historic building where the concert will take place, began its history as a pharmaceutical laboratory dedicated to tuberculosis. As a result of the passion of its owner and director, Dr. Núria Pla, the laboratory began to transform into what is now known as an ancient furniture museum. An event that celebrates science and art in the most original way.
